Privacy Notice

This Privacy Notice describes the information collected when someone visits Kleberg County Released Inmates, how that information supports the site, and the limited situations in which it may be disclosed. It also explains what happens when a visitor uses a partner search tool, follows a link to a Texas government source, or sends a message. By continuing to use the site, a visitor accepts the practices stated here. Third-party providers, including search services and official record portals, apply their own privacy terms once a visitor reaches their systems.

Terms Entered in Search Tools

When a visitor types a name, location, or other detail into a search tool, the query is sent to the third-party provider that operates the tool. Kleberg County Released Inmates does not keep or log those search terms on its own system. The provider may collect and process the query under its separate privacy policy, so visitors should review that policy before submitting personal details.

Emails and Contact Messages

If a visitor sends an email or uses a contact form, the message and supplied contact details are retained as needed to read and answer the request. Those messages are not shared outside the organization unless disclosure is required by law. Messages should not contain sensitive identifiers or confidential records. This private site is not the Kleberg County Sheriff’s Office, the Kleberg County Detention Center, TDCJ, a court, or another records custodian.

  • Delete personal data, when the law permits deletion
  • Opt out of certain forms of data processing

These requests apply to information controlled by Kleberg County Released Inmates. A visitor must contact the relevant sheriff, court, TDCJ, VINE, federal agency, or search provider about data held on that organization’s system. Texas Government Code chapter 552 governs access to qualifying state and local public information, not deletion of this private site’s operational data.
